Review of Supervisor Meeting 14/11/2011

In today's supervisor meeting we

• presented the upload functionality of pictures to our mySQL-database
• presented the results of the brainstorming about the needed categories for our offers
• we keep the focus on supermarket products and leave out electronics, which could be a follow up or extension after finishing CheApp for supermarkets
• presented a prototype of the sqlite-DB for the Android App
• decided to use a PHP-script on the server to send only the needed amount of data to the Android app when syncing
• decided to offer searching for discounts either by the GPS location or a freely chosen location
• agreed on the final exam date for the project as of the 19th of January 2012.

Review of Supervisor Meeting 12/10/2011

• we presented our draft of project description and personal contracts
• after feedback from Morten we decided to make few improvements and make a final version during holiday, for example : include list of our goals in project description, change our personal goals more into "what are we going to gain in this project?"
• Morten also suggested few additional goals we could implement in our system:
• marking favorite items 
• possibility for shop owners to register their shops and insert some discounts in mass way like using CSV or XML files  
• we also presented our website design sketches and our final version of ER diagram of our database, which we decided to keep secret from public because of security reasons

Review of Supervisor Meeting 10/10/2011

On our next supervisor meeting we

• talked more about our idea of CheApp system
• discussed technologies we are going to use and talked about possible problems and advantages or disadvantages of using them 
• Morten asked us to make: 
• project description where we should present our project, talk more about the subject and also include a list of goals we would like to implement 
• write our personal learning contracts
• We also agreed on next meeting which should take place on Wednesday in the same week because of the upcoming holidays

We had our first meeting with supervisor Morten Hansen where we discussed

• possibility of choosing different subject for our project
• Morten presented several ideas which we could choose from
• we agreed to think about ideas and make final decision on our Wednesday team meeting
